Since the age of three, Jon Curran has been on a golf course doing what he loves. In 2005, he began his golf career at Vanderbilt University, where he earned All-SEC and All-American honors. He also won the Florida State University Championship and held the Vanderbilt 54 home and 72-hole scoring records, as well as having the highest finish in the NCAA finals in Vanderbilt history.
After his college golf career, Jon was named the NGA Tour Player of the Year and had a strong start to his first year on the Web.com Tour. He posted three top-four finishes and finished with 23 Web.com Tour starts. He officially secured his 2014-15 PGA TOUR card with a record-breaking win and multiple top 25 finishes.
On Jon’s first year on the PGA TOUR, he had five top 10 finishes and 28 starts. He went to the FedEx Cup Playoffs and ended the season at No. 113 in the standings. His next year he made three top 10 finishes and 27 starts. He finished the year at number 66 in the FedEx Cup standings after missing the cut at the BMW Championship in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. After a delay in the 2017, he has returned to the PGA TOUR to continue his TOUR journey and continue being in the top 10.
When Jon is not on the course, he enjoys following his favorite college team, the Vanderbilt Commodores and the Boston Bruins. Also, he has an interest in street art and would one day like to visit Tokyo. When he is not playing golf or creating street art, he spends time supporting causes like the Child Melanoma Awareness and related causes.
